History-

The Weston 5 was the brainchild of local 'athlete' Tom Pomeroy. Together, with other keen local runners/joggers/shufflers, a fun run was organised to coincide with the annual May Day Fair. From just a handful of participants in 2000 (mainly under duress), the race now attracts up to 380 affiliated, non-affiliated and purely fun-runners today. The premise is one of- fun first, run second.

The Weston 5 has consistently been rated in the top 100 UK runs in Runners World

The route-

A scenic run along quiet country roads with approx 1.5 miles of hard surface tracks through the fields from Sulgrave back to Weston. Be ready for the hill at the end!

Your safety-

Is paramount. Stewards will be along the whole course and all will be in radio or mobile contact with our on-site organisers and medical team. Water is also available at the 3 mile point.
